Our values
Over the years, GoWorkaBit has grown into the Baltic’s leading platform for flexible work. We’ve also become a trusted partner for companies, helping them optimize their workforce strategies and labor costs.
Why choose GoWorkaBit?
GoWorkaBit is more than just a platform. We’re a partner that helps solve complex staffing challenges — supporting both company growth and individual development.
We’re proud of our work culture, our focus, and our vision for building the future of work.
Who we help and how
GoWorkaBit is built for both companies and jobseekers:
We offer a strategic solution for managing seasonal peaks and shifting workloads. Our Hub model helps businesses build flexible teams that respond quickly to demand — without overspending.
Workbits are also perfect for one-time tasks or clearly defined projects.
For companies
We give people the freedom to choose their workload and schedule based on their lifestyle. The platform is open to anyone looking for flexible and varied work opportunities.
For jobseekers
Everything we do is driven by improving people’s lives — whether they’re jobseekers, businesses, or part of our wider community. We value each person’s contribution and aim to create meaningful outcomes for everyone involved.
People-first
For us, these two go hand in hand. We trust people to make the right decisions for themselves and their work, while being there to support them when needed.
Freedom and responsibility
We don’t settle for how things have always been. We’re constantly looking for new ways to improve work life, challenge outdated systems, and create practical solutions that truly work.
Rethinking the status quo
Our goals
GoWorkaBit isn’t slowing down. In 2025, we’re expanding to Lithuania and Latvia, followed by Poland in 2026. Our long-term ambition is to become the largest and most impactful flexible workforce platform in Central and Eastern Europe by 2035.
We’re building a future of work where flexibility, freedom, and innovation are the new standard.
GoWorkaBit is a fully remote team that lives and breathes what we offer to others. Our own work culture is proof that freedom and responsibility go hand in hand. Everyone on the team has the autonomy to decide where and how they work best.
Still, we value connection: about once a month, we meet for a workday together in person, and 3–4 times a year we get together for social gatherings to strengthen the team spirit and share inspiration.
How we work
In October 2013, Garage48 XX — a 48-hour women’s hackathon — took place. That’s where Kei first introduced the idea of GoWorkaBit.
At this event, Kei, Ingrid, Gerli, and Ethel met for the first time. The concept of flexible work instantly resonated with all of them, and within 48 hours, the first version of GoWorkaBit was born. Kristjan, who was a mentor at the event, joined the team a few months later.
The idea began to truly take shape later that year when Kei and Kristjan returned from a client meeting at Baltika. Hearing repeated feedback from businesses about their need for “strike teams” made something clear: on one side, companies face fluctuating workloads due to seasonality and need fast staffing solutions; on the other, many people want greater control over when and how much they work.
That’s when the word “workbit” was born.
A workbit is a smart solution: it allows people to take on small-scale extra jobs, while helping companies quickly bridge short-term staffing gaps — without big investments of time or money.
Hub
Our innovative “Hub” model allows companies to build extended teams of flexible workers. Hub members are hand-picked from the GoWorkaBit platform — they’re trained and familiar with the company’s processes, much like full-time employees. But unlike traditional staff, they can choose the shifts or workdays that suit them best. This flexible setup helps companies align labor costs with real-time order volumes or customer demand — something that was difficult to manage before.
That’s when the word “workbit” was born.

Just sellel üritusel kohtusid Kei, Ingrid, Gerli ja Ethel esimest korda. Paindliku töö idee kõnetas neid kõiki ning 48 tunni jooksul sündis GoWorkaBiti esimene versioon. Kristjan, kes osales üritusel mentorina, liitus tiimiga mõned kuud hiljem.
